Remove the wood cap and take out the plastic plug; replace the wood cap and screw on tightly.  Tilt upside down for a few seconds to let the fragrance penetrate the wood cap, then flip it over again. Remove the lace keeper on one side, string around your rear view mirror or other area where the diffuser will hang upright to prevent spilling/leaking. When you feel the fragrance is getting low, tilt it over for a few seconds again and let it refresh the wood cap. 
Warning:  fragrance may stain if spilled, so take care to keep it upright at all times. If it does spill, wipe up immediately. Keep away from children and pets. Do not ingest. Avoid long exposure to very hot or very cold weather.
